Christmas 2025

Our family gathering was on Dec. 20th and on Dec 22nd we all started getting sick. 80% of the people who attended are down for the count. Fever, chills, the whole bit.

Unfortunately, that means that we've missed every get together and event since then. What a rough Christmas!

Christmas morning was a bit subdued, but we still had fun.

Luke is heading back to school to finish his welding certificate. Since funds will be tight for several month, we gave him mainly cash. It was fun to find interesting ways to wrap the cash so he still had gifts to open. Ben crafted this "dust pan" out of cardboard.

Having a little one around for Christmas is a lot of fun. She was thrilled with everything she got.

Ben had seen a recipe for a Norwegian egg bake dish. He made that up the night before so we had something to eat. Normally we have a breakfast brunch with lots of good food, but I didn't have it in me this time. Egg bake to the rescue. It was SO good that we've decided it need to become our Christmas tradition, too.

We're grateful to God for the gift of His Son. Even if things don't go perfectly, there's no such thing as a bad Christmas.
