It's still plenty warm here, but the worst of the heat has moved on which means we can get outside more!
We checked out a new cafe which was packed to the brim. We slurped down our coffees, promised to return in the future, and found someplace else for lunch. Once we were properly fueled we headed over to the park.
There was a long, paved walking path, a lake, a playground, and lots of beautiful old trees. We had so much fun admiring the trees and collecting acorns and seeds to try planting.
Did you know Ginko tree fruit smells terrible? The trees are lovely so we're going to try planting some seeds. Maybe we'll plant them in the far back field.
