IA Trip Day 3: Fairfield and Quincy

 Fairfield, IA was a nice way to start the day. 

We grabbed coffee at a unique cafe downtown and then walked around the town square.

There just happened to be a car show so that was a nice bonus.

We got some walking in and then headed down the road. 

Our last stop before home was Quincy, IL. We nabbed a coffee here, too, and were hoping to walk along the river, but there was a gay pride event going on. So we walked down to the riverfront and then walked right back up. 

Only a few hours later and we were back home. We were glad to be home at a good time so we could rest and be prepared for the week. The boys did a great job of holding down the fort which I appreciate. I can see us doing a lot more of these weekend getaways in the future.
