We were up bright and early to grab breakfast before leaving the ship. Breakfast and disembarking was smooth. There was a bit of waiting once we got off the ship and then out of the blue a shuttle driver tagged us and asked where we were going. We told him and he told us to follow him. I was more than happy to leave the taxi line behind! We said goodbye to the rest of our group and rode the shuttle to get our rental car.
Then the real waiting happened. Thankfully it was a lovely day, but we waited for about 30 minutes despite our reservation. Finally we had our car and we made our way to the Space Needle. The original plan was for Gabe and I to go up in the Space Needle, but a farmer's market was setting up and we decided it was probably going to be a wait so we kept going. We were planning on meeting A's first foster family at the Seattle Public Library so we just headed straight there instead.
The library was awesome! Ben and Gabe set out to explore while A and I settled in to read some books. Before we knew it her foster family was there and we were all hugging and chatting. Little Lady didn't remember them outright, but I could tell she could sense something deep down. She warmed up to them super fast - especially their son who had been like a big brother to her.
We chatted for a good bit and they gave her a little gift for the plane. We hugged and said our goodbyes. I was a teary mess but held it together fairly well.
After they headed out, we headed out to get food. We found a little place within walking distance that was pretty good and cheap.

We were early to be at our friend's so we stopped by downtown Snoqualmie first. We showed Gabe around a bit and got some ice cream. Finally, we headed over to A's last foster family who have become friends.
It was a joyful reunion!

We had such a nice time catching up and chatting. A was so stoked to be able to camp out in her big sister's room. There were no complaints about bedtime!
