2025 Family Vacation Day 8: Victoria, BC

Missy Miss went to Kid's Club for the last time and brought back a crown. The rest of the family attended a "Ask the Captain" event which was preceded by a towel-folding demo. They gave away the towel creations afterward and Ben was able to bring one back for her. We also participated in an emoji movie trivia which was really fun.

Last dinner on the ship means triple dessert (no, we didn't order this, the waiter just gave it to her, lol)

Our ship docked in the late afternoon and people were let off at about 5. We decided to eat in the main dining room one last time and then we disembarked after that.

We severely underestimated how much walking was involved to get to downtown Victoria. It was a lovely day and the walk was very nice, but it was a lot.

By the time we got there A was melting down. We didn't spend much time looking around before heading back toward the ship. It was full of shops and very touristy.

We walked through Fisherman's Wharf on the way back and the A played on the playground for a bit.

Gabe had gone with Tim for a whale watching trip so they didn't get back until after us. It was a late night for them

The rest of the evening was spent packing everything up since all but one of our bags needed to be set outside the cabin that night for pick up. We kept 1 bag and our backpacks. We turned in early to get ready for a full day.
