Plants Around the House

 My peonies bloomed early this year which was a treat. They usually bloom and peak in late May when we're on vacation and I miss them. 

I've learned that peonies do not like too much moisture - especially on the leaves. They can tend to get fungus. We had a lot of warm, dry weather this year and just now are getting rain. These guys are loving this combo!

This little lemon balm has become a welcome addition to my front garden. It's a wonderful herb for tea and is a pleasant little plant.
