At Least I Got Flowers

 This afternoon we stopped by a friends Coffee Truck down the road to say hi and grab coffee. Another pop-up was selling flowers so I bought some of those, too. Lovely! 

We were chatting with our friend when Gabe texted saying the power was out. Then Tim texted to say he saw emergency vehicles driving by. Fun over, time to head home.

We drove past our house to see what had happened and sure enough, there was an accident. They took down one of the poles. You can see the dark vehicle with a smashed front end. He flew off the road (behind the house, back by the trees). Yikes! I hope they were okay.

Power was only out for a short time. Internet was out longer. The guys went out for dinner while the little and I stayed home and watched a DVD. Thank you, generator!
