I've never been one for Spring cleaning. By the time the sun comes out and the weather turns warm I'm ready to get outside and start in on gardening and landscaping. The New Year is what gets me pumped.

I've been working my way through the house like a whirlwind, cleaning out drawers and cabinets and closets and it feel so good and I'm so amazed at how the house is so much neater and how much easier it is to clean every day!

Also, there seems to be a switch in my brain that suddenly activates and I'm suddenly able and willing to solve problems that have been bugging me all year. Nothing major, but just little things. I've already purchased a hamper for the Master closet and two baskets for the laundry room.

A first for me this year is the outside and garage. Since we're making a concerted effort to be outside for a minimum of 1 hour each day, I've been able to get a lot done out there! I'll admit, usually I am done outside as soon as winter hits. Any garden or flower bed stuff that's been left behind just has to wait until Spring. Leaves, dead plants, etc. It's far from pretty, but I've never cared.

This year I've got a huge jump on clearing all of that away and I cleaned out my side of the garage to boot. It's a miracle and I'm loving it. Of course, the weather has been unseasonably warm so we'll see how long this continues.

I'll keep soaking it up until then!
