2019 Florida Vacation Day 4: Seaworld

For this Florida vacation, we didn't want to return to Disney or Universal, we wanted to do something different. Ben suggested SeaWorld and Busch Gardens which I thought was a great idea. I'd visited them as a child and didn't remember much, but I do know that I enjoyed myself.

SeaWorld was awesome! There was plenty to keep us busy and entertained, but we felt we were able to see everything we wanted in a day. That's a nice balance that's difficult to achieve. We saw three shows and Ben and Luke got to ride several rides. All of the animal exhibits were enjoyable, too!

Gabe, of course, loved the Antarctic area.

Luke really enjoyed the manatees.

We spent the day at SeaWorld and then headed back to the resort for a nap. After our nap, we went to Universal's City Walk to eat at our favorite place in the world:

There was a 40 minute wait, but it was nice outside so we just walked. Right outside the Blue Man Group is a fun pipe instrument thingy. Luke was drawn to it like a magnet and probably could have stayed there all night.

At last our table was ready so we headed in. Gabe and I split a chicken dinner because we knew we'd need to save room for dessert. We weren't very adventurous. We ended getting the exact same thing we got 2 years ago. But it did not disappoint.

After we stuffed ourselves, we decided to walk for a bit and pretend it was burning off enough calories to offset what we'd just consumed. Ha!

So, naturally, we headed straight to Voodoo Donuts.

We only looked, though. No donuts were purchased. Maybe next time! They had a lot of interesting and unique flavors. Maybe it was the busyness of the day or all of the carbs we'd just consumed, but I wasn't up to making a decision on which flavor to try - even if I'd had the room!

Luke caught some Pokemon and then we headed back to the resort and called it a day. It was a perfect day in every way!
