(Almost) The Last Scrapbook
I've been scrapbooking for 20 years!
Mostly, I love it, but sometimes it feels like a chore. I waffled back and forth and actually declared that I was quitting scrapbooking for good and would make memory books on Snapfish from now on. But then I went to Hobby Lobby to pick out an album and pages to finish out 2018 and I got sucked back in.
I *did* go through all of my papers and stickers and ruthlessly purged anything and everything that I knew I wasn't going to use. I was able to condense those things down to fit in just 1 bin and that made my feel a lot less overwhelmed.
My 2018 album is halfway done and I've ordered the pictures from Costco already so I should be able to finish it up this month.
Scrapbooking is more than just a hobby for me. It's a hands-on chronicle of our lives together. The boys LOVE looking at the albums. Especially their baby albums. It's tradition to look through them on their birthdays.

The boys are still on break until Monday. I let them sleep in until 10:30 today and plan on getting them up 30 minutes earlier each day from here on. I also reduced their electronic time back down to get them acclimated. Only 4 more days left!
Ben went back to work after being off since the Thursday before Christmas. Thankfully he only has a 3-day work week so he can ease back into it a bit.
I missed all of the NYE festivities due to a cold, but I'm def. on the upswing. Very snotty today, but at least I have my energy back!
