Halloween 2018

This Halloween was chilly and drizzly, but the boys still had a blast.

Pumpkin carving was more of a chore than it was fun.

Luke was able to do all of his on his own, but he didn't want to invest any time into it and he ended up breaking the carving tool. Sigh.

Gabe was excited, but lacked the muscle to finish his. It was a group effort, for sure.

They were excited about their costumes and had so much fun with their friends so that's what matters!

The kids were all old enough to go trick-or-treating without us so we let them loose. Karen and I did walk a bit just to get some exercise, but otherwise all the adults huddled around the firepit and chatted.

It wasn't a late night since this Halloween fell on a school day. The kids were reluctant to leave their friends, but happy to dig into their stash. I'm glad they enjoyed themselves, especially since this might be Luke's last year!
