Blizzard...Denver Style

According to the weather, the blizzard warning was to go into effect early on Thursday mainly because of the wind. Imagine our surprise when we woke up to 6 inches of snow!

Originally, Ben had been scheduled to work on a server for a local customer and the boys and I were going to spend the day with friends. Instead, we didn't leave the house all day.

Just to give you an idea of the snow we received:

When I woke up, I noticed that allll the cars on our block were still exactly where they'd been the night before. No one was going anywhere. Turns out that was a good idea. Apparently it was quite the blizzard!

We caught up on sleep, read, watched shows on the ipad. Pretty much just rested up which really was just fine. We all felt a bit antsy by the end of the day, but it didn't drag as much as I would have thought.

I just wouldn't want to do it on a regular basis!
