A Walk in the Park

We took the boys to a park just minutes away from Ben's work. The beautiful Fall days are fleeting so we're taking advantage of them.

When available, we make the boys walk on trail or paths with us before hitting the playground. Otherwise, they're too worn out.

We saw this sweet kitty on our walk. He's pitch black, just like the kitties we have at home. Gabe immediately named him Midnight. Both boys begged to take him home. Much to my relief, the cat wouldn't let us anywhere near him! He looked healthy and well-fed so we just moved on.

The playground equipment was new and was really neat. It had a woodland theme that Gabe really loved.

They have a train car (?) at the park which was kind of neat. All the boys had to climb up and check it out.

The entire town has scarecrow dummies scattered around. Most are themed according to which business they represent.

While the boys played, I wandered around snapping pictures of anything that caught my interest. Missouri is so beautiful this time of year. There's so much going on!

The sun started to go down and the air turned chilly so we headed for home. It was the perfect way to spend such a pretty Autumn day together.
