GAPS Diet Day 12: What Others Have to Say

Yesterday was pretty uneventful. I did discover that the boys eat broth better when I give it to them a little at each meal instead of a bowl at lunch. Much less fussing and fighting. They continue to eat everything else I put on their plates so I can't complain too much.

My brother was here yesterday and was a good sport about the whole thing, but he was a bit dubious. Oh well. We've been blessed that so far everyone has been really supportive of our dietary changes, but we we've also been kind of quiet about the whole thing. I'm so glad the holidays are several months off yet! I'm sure that will be a hoot! No, but really, we're blessed that both grandmas are pretty health-conscience and supportive. I was really dreading other people's reactions, but everyone has been supportive, even if they don't really understand what we're doing. Maybe we're just blessed or maybe people are finally coming around to the idea of eating real food that it's not so shocking anymore? Either way, I'll take it! I think that some level of support is almost a necessity if you want to succeed on this diet! Especially during the first week!
